Rob Deemer is a composer, educator, author, and arts advocate. His works have been performed by the President’s Own Marine Band, Chicago Composers Orchestra, cellist Jeffrey Ziegler, soprano Tony Arnold, saxophonist Tim McAllister, the Great Noise Ensemble and the Rasçher Saxophone Quartet. He is well-known for his writings on New Music Box,Sequenza21, and the New York Times. Deemer is currently head of composition at the State University of New York at Fredonia and a member of the composition faculty at the Interlochen Summer Arts Camp.
